The main idea started from the concept of writing the form of a pendant water drop.

We could define a drop as a small form of liquid, bounded completely or almost completely by free surfaces. The shape of the drop results from the relationship between the surface tension or interfacial tension and gravity. The surface tension is calculated from the shadow image of a pendant drop using drop shape analysis.
